Career Transition Services
Career Transition Services are primarily designed to assist people who are currently employed but wish to change jobs, those who have recently lost their job and seek redeployment, or to help those who have decided to change their career path entirely.
Our approach is unique and our methodology has been developed locally to suit our specific conditions and expectations. We do not use material developed for foreign markets and then changed to try to force it to apply to Australia. Nor do we use the “one flavour suits all” approach. We recognise the unique differences that make you the person you are and treat you as an individual.
All of our programs are based on personalised Career Transition Manuals© and are delivered by Internet and telephone. Our programs can be done in the comfort and security of your home and at a pace that suits you. Support, based on the program you select, is provided by phone and email to ensure your needs are met.

When you seek career transition, or any form of career redeployment, you become responsible for marketing your product – and that product is you!
To do so, you must have a thorough understanding of what your product does, how it does it, and the benefit the purchaser will obtain from buying the product. You must also find out who needs the product. After all, they are the only ones you wish to talk to.
Once you have a buyer, you need to know when to be quiet and how to provide customer service and product support. You must put in place three essential elements and you must maintain these throughout your employment – these are your personal advertising, marketing and public relations.
Career Transition Program 1
This program is designed for those who have experienced some leadership or management responsibilities and wish to capitalise on their potential to take the next step. This program will provide critical knowledge to present yourself as a well versed and competent problem solver with a relevant background clearly demonstrating past success and illustrating how you can be of value to a new employer. Emphasis is on your marketing and application strategies, the creation of a one page personal summary, the achievement based resume and key word optimisation.
Career Transition Program 2
This program is ideal for candidates who have leadership experience and seek to progress to increased responsibility levels and authority, and more importantly will be seeking to achieve results through supervising staff. You may also be actively seeking opportunities for further promotion. This process ensures you are at the leading edge, that you have in-depth knowledge of selection criteria and how you meet it. You will acquire a sound knowledge of how to work in the hidden market, thus accessing the eighty-five percent of jobs that are never advertised. Your material will be key word optimised and you will acquire strong and polished interview skills, ensuring you are comfortable and confident.
This program focuses on the achievement-based application, the derivation of skills from achievements, the identification of strengths, preferred skills base and non-preferred skills, and the use of your skills base to construct the Executive Brief (and the importance of this document). To approach the hidden job market, you will develop a Solution Statement and targeting mechanism to ensure your material is targeting the right decision-makers. Your interview skills will be polished.
Career Transition Program 3
Specifically designed for candidates with a depth of management experience, the emphasis of this program is strongly centred on strategic targeting of the hidden market. This program is especially designed to address the issues confronted by mature age candidates; particularly those who perceive an age related obstacle to their productive future. The program is heavily weighted in favour of the hidden job market because our experience shows that three quarters of all mature age candidates are likely to achieve success in this area.
Skills, strengths, non-preferred skills and key transferable competencies are looked at in detail to guide the construction of an achievement-focused, key word optimised resume. A detailed Executive Brief is created and marketing strategies examined. Activity indicators are looked at to access the hidden job market and a Personal Summary and Solution Statement developed to strategically target opportunities not advertised. Extensive and in-depth interview techniques are examined to ensure a comprehensive knowledge of elimination techniques and knock out questions.
Career Transition Program 4
Designed for experienced senior personnel who seek advancement and new career opportunities unlikely to be seen in the advertised market. Emphasis is on networking and the hidden market. Each program is individually designed to address the issues of most importance to the participant. This program demands a high level of commitment and dedication, the capacity to sustain a high work output, lateral thinking capabilities and a willingness to embrace new concepts and ideas. All elements of Career Transition Program 3 are included with additional emphasis on non-resume approaches, the use of the Personal Summary, the Solution Statement, the Value Added Statement and how to combine these unique and very successful tools using key word optimisation. This program focuses on the concept of having the employer want you. At senior levels, the traditional resume approach is arguably, the least successful.
Our Career Transition Programs are especially tailored to the needs of each individual participant and take into account each persons pace, preferences and unique requirements.
