What We Do:

Pacific SEA Consulting was established in 1996 as a specialist Career Transition Consultancy to assist those who experience problems in obtaining suitable employment, (often through no fault of their own), those who have been retrenched or made redundant and those who find themselves working in a position that becomes untenable, forcing them to consider alternatives.

We have operated through a number of severe economic downturns and have wide and in-depth experience of the problems faced by many employees (and their families), who are suddenly thrown out of work, often because of the poor performance of company managers. There is an increasing tendency for managers to make the workplace so difficult and unpleasant that staff are “encouraged” to resign, thus avoiding redundancy payments.

Whatever the case, we are here to help and we are very good at it.

We operate in two ways –we provide extensive career transition and outplacement services and comprehensive recruitment and headhunting services at the corporate level. The reason we work in both fields is because during strong economic growth, the demand for recruitment services predominates. During times of economic stress, career transition services and outplacement are in high demand. Both compliment each other and many of our career transition clients go on to successful careers at senior levels coming back for recruitment services when they require staff.

Our programs© have been developed locally especially for the Australian market. These programs are unique and unlike others, are not modified from information developed overseas and then changed to try to suit local conditions.

Our programs are based on our own publications and these are not available from any other source. All programs are adapted to suit the specific requirements of each individual to ensure the best possible results.

Successful career transition takes planning and preparation – lots of it. But you only ever have to do it once. While the will to win is important, the will to do the preparation to win is absolutely vital. It’s an investment in your own future.
